Enjoy Turkish delight with a Cheap Holiday to Icmeler
Marmaris is the old lady of modern Turkish holidays of cheap bars, dodgy clubs and a certain well known fast food burger joint (yes both of them!), but this once quiet and charming fishing village, that was just a small harbour waiting to be ravaged by tourism 'The Next BIG' new glittering holiday resort rival to the costa's, and as Bodrum and Gumbet exploded at the seams when Turkey holidays become the must see destination of the moment, Marmaris started to develop into the cosmopolitian holiday resort of today. Back then, Icmeler was practically unheard off (and hardly exsisted!), it was a hamlet by the sea like so many others on that coast and the only people that knew it existed were the locals themselves. But as Marmaris exploded on the scene, there was something missing, Marmaris that had been overlooked at the time of its conception, although rich with bars, varied nightlife and big hotels, been a harbour it didn't have the best of beaches for the beach lovers so the developers looked at the forgotten little village next to Marmaris and started to develop the area for the influx of tourists that were sure to descend from Great Britian and Germany amongst others. |

Alcohol, the grape of desire
In Europe, especially France Wine is considered to be a daily activity that even children are allowed to partake in but watered down of course. Food and wine are very much complimentary to each other and really enhance and prop the entrees delightfully.
According to science studies red wine has been known to prevent heart diseases too. On a positive note alcohol actively raises the level of high-density lipoproteins (HDL) which is the substance in the blood that actively removes cholesterol. Arteries in effect to this process have lesser chance of clogging up to prevent heart attacks. However these health advantages can only take place if the alcohol is consumed in moderation. |

PLANTING ONIONS
No garden will ever be complete until you’ve made room for planting onions; they are a must in every cook’s kitchen. They grow fairly quickly and take up little space. There are a large range of varieties, colors, tastes, and sizes. You can grow them from seed, seedlings or sets (small dry bulbs grown the previous year). Planting onions in the North is best done in spring to produce a spring summer and fall crop whereas in the South they thrive in the fall, winter and spring. |

Discover What Being Curious Does for You
Positive Psychology defines curiosity as "the active recognition, pursuit, and regulation of one's experience in response to challenging opportunities" (Character Strengths and Virtues: A Handbook and Classification by Christopher Peterson and Martin Seligman, 2004). SPLENDOUR OF THE SEAS - “SHIP OF LIGHT” ROYAL CARIBBEAN
Itinerary: Venice
Cruising
Athens
Mykonos
Cruising
Split
Venice
I flew with Ryanair from Shannon on Friday morning. I spent the day in Venice which is ideal really for people to spend the night there and the ship sails at 5pm the following day so plenty of time to see this amazing city. It is also great for people to spend a long weekend there as they fly every Friday morning and late flight Monday so you have four full days in this beautiful city. The transfer was 6 euro one way or 10 euro return which is valid for 1 week. It stops at the train station and the bus station, which is the one you need to get off on. |

Words Used to Describe the Taste of Coffee
Everyone loves coffee, but do you know how to describe its taste in the same way as the professionals in the industry? Why not give it a go? Below are some common terms used - it is not meant to be an exhaustive list
Astringent - A secondary taste sensation noted by a salty sensation on the sides of the tongue. Caused by acids increasing the saltiness.
Baggy - An unpleasant taste often found in weakly roasted coffees that have been stored for a long time in inappropriate conditions. |

Enough! Religious Hatred CAN Be Ended
It's May 7, 2009. Americans and Iraqis are killing each other in the Middle East. Several young men in Pakistan murdered their own sister yesterday because they decided her choice of a singing career was sinful. A man is on the run from the police in Connecticut after murdering a Wesleyan College student and threatening Jews and other people that he hates. Jews and Palestinians continue to kill each other in the Holy Land. A man in Brockton, MA, my home town, appeared in court today for his arraignment on a murder charge: while waiting in jail, he carved a swastika on his forehead in order to clarify whom he hates and thinks should die. |

How Aromatherapy Can Enhance Meditation
Meditation alone can be incredibly healing and restorative, but it is also possible to enhance the benefits by combining it with other modalities like music, color therapy, and holding or placing specific gems and crystals on the body while meditating. Aromatherapy is another option that works well with meditation because specific scents can easily inspire corresponding moods and enhance visual imagery. Depending on the purpose of your meditation, you could choose various scents that would complement it. For example, some scents might induce a sense of peace and well-being while others would be better for boosting confidence, enhancing mental clarity or stimulating creativity. |

How to Melt Stress
If you have ever wanted to start a meditation practice but kept putting it off because you didn't know how to get started, you'll be pleased to know that it's probably easier than you think. Try these two easy steps for starters:
Quiet your thoughts.
One of the most helpful aspects of meditation is the way it shifts you to a state of being, rather than thinking or doing. This is accomplished by finding a quiet place to be alone and simply focusing on emptying your mind of all thoughts. That may sound impossible at first, but "emptying your mind" doesn't mean you won't still have thoughts moving in and out of your mind.

Making French Bead Flowers Vibrant and Lifelike
You might have seen or made French bead flowers that were beautifully made, but didn't look quite right. Possibly they looked stiff and artificial. Here is some advice to help you make bead flowers that are graceful and charming.
Here are a few ideas that will help your flowers to be their loveliest and most natural-looking. You can use these tips even if you are making a "fantasy" flower. A flower is a flower, after all, and even if the one you have created doesn't yet grow in nature, odds are that someday some botanist will develop it. |
